Wow, I Am Back!

So while I was fully fine waiting another 11 years to come back and blog I am here again. You may have noticed some spiritual connotations in my last blog. I do need to update my profile from 2009 when I was working at the Pentagon to 2020 now that I reside here in Atlanta and work in the spaces of Leading (Healing) People, Real Estate, and Information Technology. It was kinda cool reading some of my old interests, and amazing that my favorite movie list did not change. I really thought Salt with Angelina Jolie was much more recent than 2009! Time flies! :D or 😀 Just so you know I am a little old school. When I was in college working on my Computer Science degree we were asked to "try this internet thing for the military." I went to West Point, so this was a true trial effort. Obviously, you see the "net" is far beyond the military and it has been for a LONG time. Anyway, it's way easier to smile like this :) or to wink like this ;) than to go find an emoji. I did not realize my friend circle of mostly 30-year olds had no idea what those were. Hahahaha (my go to since LOL did not exist back then <smile> ... that was before emoticons took flight).  Now I do like emojis over emoticons for obvious reasons; I just can't incorporate them as fast with my typing speed.

I digress - a favorite term for a person like me who embodies this Mark Twain quote I have listed in all my email signatures as follows:

Excuse any lengthy emails (see Mark Twain quote here: Twain.txt)

So anyway, if I ever do another blog post you may start calling me what many already do:

  • rabbit hole chaser
  • squirrel moment trophy winner
  • email BOOK writer
  • multi-tasker
  • juggler
  • alien :)

Again thank-you to @oliviasandra for jump-starting this for me, though while I don't promise to come back, I have seen the most SPIDERS I've ever seen in a single day today which is what brought me here!  Now, you say, "spiders... what?!"  Yes... Spiritual spiders indicate creativity. When you see a spider cross your path it indicates that you had the power to create your reality and you have to power to recreate it! Spiders are the keepers of the primordial alphabet. They teach you how to write creatively.

So that's what brought me here. Now maybe I should be working on the Masterclass I am building as I am a Mind Healer. Or maybe these spiders are a sign of the balance I need. I've literally not just seen over 10 spiders in the last 2 hours, but one of them jumped on my neck, another spun right down in front of my face, another crawled up the side of my laptop and one is still crawling back and forth since about 10:30 (3.5 hours ago) on the deck rail in front of me. At 10:30 I was on the ground meditating when it crawled in front of me and seemed to watch me.  I've been out regularly on my deck since August first and I see 0 to 1 spider daily.  Today is an anomaly.

Spiders are strength and gentleness combined.  Every other spiritual sign I've received in 2020 includes my need to BALANCE. I always thought it meant a balance between the Spiritual, Mental, and Physical (Financial/Success) goals I've had. While what I am about to say isn't necessarily different, my spiritual teachers/mentors/parents told me this week that the balance is between the feminine and masculine. Not from a gender perspective, but from a strengths perspective. From a feminine perspective that relates to a receptive energy. An unmovable, unshakeable energy. It does not run or chase. It stays and waits to receive. I have been chasing success, leadership, growth for a very long time. I learned last year as I took some big steps to develop my spiritual wisdom that I willed my strength into existence from a very young toddler age. Last year taught me to cultivate my strength from within. In 2007 I started my 1st Master's Degree in Practical Theology as a continuation of my spiritual journey. I had long time known happiness comes from within but did not fully understand that my willed wall of strength blocked a deep understanding of this. As I continued to chase I started my second master's in Organizational Leadership in 2010. We talk about "born" leaders and I was more of a dad-went-to-jail-when_I-was-three-help-my-mom-raise-three-kids developed leader (hence willing that strength into my personality).

So now I step back and look inside. I am somewhat of a mystic, so this is timely and relevant. I am an eclectic ecumenical mind healer of sorts. One who meets people where they are regardless of religion, spirituality, or non of the above and brings them to their own understanding in support of their truth. What is truth but what you see it as yourself right?

I read something awesome today about Shridi Sai Baba who is a spiritual master revered by Hindu and Muslim devotees alike. To him, this did not matter. If you are interested you can go to @the_mystic_quest on Instagram and read more about him in their October 26th post.

I am also on my 4th Bee sighting. Now I do also see only 1 or 0 Bees a day since coming out here in August. I do however see a butterfly or 3 every day, with the same two regularly, and haven't seen them at all today. So I am to pay close attention to these interesting sitings. I started typing this probably 2 hours ago and have had several squirrel moments until I saw the Bee. I looked it up and it said "focus on whatever task you have." LOL. So I remembered my blog post and I am here. :)

What spiritual lessons have you had certain epiphanies or synchronicities (there are no coincidences) throughout your life?
